Fire Protection Group - Golf Day Extravaganza
Kingsfield Golf Centre was the preferred location for Linlithgow Bridge based company, Fire Protection Group (www.fpgltd.co.uk) Company Golf Day. Invited Clients , Customers and Suppliers collected for Registration at the reserved outdoor bay area before enjoying a light lunch in the Tee Caddie Coffee Shop. Managing Director Colin Mitchell then welcomed the attendees and laid out the itinerary for the event.
It was then time for the 1st Fourball to Tee Off at our USGA Specification 9 hole Golf Course. Others were enjoying playing the Ochils Family Putting Green whilst others limbered up in the practice bays. As the afternoon progressed other golfers were provided with an explanation and demo of the fantastic golf facilities in the recently opened Taylor Made Performance Centre. Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive Competitions were also part of the event.
The early starters were back at the Centre in less than 2 hours and taking part in the Putting Competition and then watching the World Cup match involving England before being joined by the rest of the 25 golfers.
It was then time to enjoy the fun at the Kingsfield Shooting Arena, where all 35 guests and staff took aim and attempted in many different shooting fashions to hit the flying clays. Great banter and a few refreshments were enjoyed before the Final shoot out involving some of the FPG Management Team. With everybody in high spirits it was time to head for the nearby Champany Inn where each individual members of the group’s appetite was well satisfied with the Best Steaks in
the whole of Scotland.
The FPG Management Team then announced the Prize winners from the Golf, Putting and Laser Clay Competitions and presented some wonderful gifts to the happy winners.
Kingsfield GC would like to Thank FPG for utilising our premises and introducing their clients to our Golf facilities. We hope to be of service to FPG again in the near future and look forward to welcoming back their guests at some stage to our 4 Star Visit Scotland Activity Centre.
